Q. What are the benefits of hosting an Open House?
A. As summarized above, the benefits of hosting an Open House are as follows:
- Receive 20% off every Saying you buy before your Open House begins. After submitting the form below, your discount will automatically be applied to the orders you make at this Open House.
- For hosting your Open House, you may either choose from:
10% of net sales from your Open House in a Lowes® or Linens -n- Things® gift card, redeemable on-line or in the store
15% of net sales in a Say It Simply gift certificate
- For each referred Open House, you will receive a $15 Say It Simply gift certificate.
Note: to qualify for the Say It Simply gift certificate or a retailer gift card, the orders from your open house and/or the referred open house must total at least $100 (not including applicable taxes and shipping).
Q. When are the benefits awarded?
A. The Say It Simply gift certificates based on the net sales from your Open House are sent to you via email when your Open House closes. The Lowes and Linens -n- Things gift cards take two to four weeks to arrive. The $15 gift certificate that is awarded when you refer another Open House is sent to you via email when the referred open house closes. Your multiple Say It Simply gift certificates may be combined when you redeem them on the Say It Simply website.
Q. How do I sign up to host my own Virtul Open House?
A. Signing up is easy. Go to our Host Your Own Virtual Open House page and enter your contact information. One of our personal Design Consultants will contact you in the next couple of days.
Q. I have a product, installation or Open House question. Who can I contact?
A. When you sign up to do a virtual Open House, you will be assigned one of our personal Design Consultants. She would be happy to help you with any questions you have. All of our consultants have received training on our products and how it is installed. They have all hosted their own open houses and have had the experience of installing many Sayings. Your consultant will be accessible both via email and by telephone.

Q. I just signed up to host a virtual Open House. What happens next?
A. After receiving your information, we assign a consultant to you and make your information accessible to her. She will contact you within two business days of you submitting the request to host an Open House. She will then walk you through the next steps and answer any questions you may have.
Q. How long will it take from the time I sign up to host an Open House to the time the invitations are sent and the Open House actually opens?
A. This depends on where in the process you are starting.
- If you already have Say It Simply Sayings displayed in your home, all you need to do is personalize your Open House and compile your guest list. Therefore, your Open House can begin in just a few days.
- If you need to purchase Sayings before beginning your Open House, then the ordering, manufacturing, shipping and installation of your Sayings will take 1 to 2 weeks. Therefore, your Open House will begin in about 2 to 3 weeks.
Q. How long will my attendees have to order their Sayings?
A. This is for you to decide. The longest an Open House can stay open is two weeks. Most Open Houses last 7 to 10 days. Your consultant will work with you to decide how long you would like yours to remain open.
Q. What aspects of my Open House can I personalize?
A. You can do the following to personalize your site:
- Upload a photo of yourself that will be displayed on the main Open House page and in the email invitation
- Create a personal message to greet your guests
- Upload photos of the lettering in your home to showcase to your guests
Please note: only those who you invite to your Open House will have access to your photos and contact information.
Q. What are your shipping methods, costs and delivery times?
A. With a Virtual Open House, your guest will have the option of having their Saying shipped either to the host's home or to a different destination of their choosing. If they choose to have the order shipped with the other orders from the Open House to the host's home, shipping is not charged; however, the order will not be shipped until the Open House closes.
For all orders that are shipped to a destination other than the host's home, the following shipping information applies. The shipping costs for orders placed as part of an open house are less than half our standard shipping charges. All orders are shipped using United States Postal Service (USPS) First-Class Mail according to the following table:
